General Internships

Develop your skills and make an impact on the lives of kids and families at Vipawa and beyond.
As an institution dedicated to lifelong learning, Vipawa Children’s Art Museum strives to provide meaningful learning experiences in the form of internships. Museum interns gain experience in a nonprofit setting and learn about what goes on behind the scenes at a Committed Home of 21st Century Education Children’s Art Museum. Internships are available in various areas of the Museum depending on individual departments’ needs.

To apply, submit filed internship application to the Administrator, Vipawa Children’s Art Museum, Plot 7 Wilson Avenue, Jinja. or at vcam@vipawakids.org

Please include all of the following:

  • Completed Internship application
  • Letter stating personal interests, reasons for wanting to work at Vipawakids, desired learning outcomes for the internship, and potential benefits to Vipawakids
  • Résumé
  • Letter of recommendation from a faculty sponsor/ Head

Vipawakids will consider each student’s interests and determine whether an appropriate project is available. If one is, the applicant will receive an interview with Administrator and, if appropriate, members of Vipawakids’ history, collections, research, programs, exhibits, or marketing and communications teams.
